 WHAT WAS THE ORIGINAL NAME OF "AFRICA" BEFORE THE EUROPEAN CAME TO CONLONIZE IT IN 1822?  As a historian, before I give my readers an account about the original name of Africa, it is imperatively important to go back billions and billions years ago in order to come back with realistic truth. When God created Adam and Eve as the first human beings on Earth (Genesis Chapter one (1) verses twenty-six to thirty-one) (26 - 3 1), God blessed them to grow in numbers and subdue the Earth through hard work in diversity.The different colours, human beings have, come as accident qualities.These colours might have come through geographical developments human beings passed through in the course of times. My Hero Rested.
Its now Just one week.
He touched lives of many
Many can attest to that
He was so friendly to many
That pure heart he had I admired.
He was very frank and open.
I mean a no nonsense creature.
We, the pioneer class used to call him Etalang'i yolile.Meaning the ''lion has arrived''.
He loved Education and mentored many in the Education Sector.
He was a go getter.
I admired His energy in social and economic ability.
I inherit it.
My hero has rested this week.
No one can replace you My primary head teacher.
I will miss you,
You rested before seeing my salutations.
You left me without the word of goodbye.
It's just life that separated us apart.
But you will ever remain in my memories,
You will forever stay in my heart because of what you did for me in primary school.
My Hero is non other than TEACHER JOSEPH MUKHONE

Victor Wanyama Foundation scholarship beneficiaries undergo mentorship

   Nine kids who were the first beneficiaries of the Victor Wanyama Foundation scholarship programme are undergoing a mentorship programme in Nairobi.With the schools closed for the mid-season break, the foundation is taking the kids through a three-day mentorship programme, Elvis Majani, the foundation’s advocate, has explained. SCHOLARSHIP “We want to develop the kids into responsible citizens and we are therefore very keen in all aspects of their lives. Some of them are coming to Nairobi for the first time and the excitement they have is evident.
