Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his Ford-Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula on Friday resolved to work together in the Kibra by-election in a move that will likely give the ODM candidate fresh headache. Mr Musyoka announced that his party would support Ford-Kenya candidate Khamisi Butichi. According to Mr Musyoka, who hosted Mr Wetang’ula at the Wiper party offices in Nairobi, his move to back Mr Butichi is to reciprocate Ford-Kenya’s decision not to field a candidate in the Embakasi South by-election t...

Why Kibra by-election is a test for the Uhuru-Raila handshake and BBI issue. watch their movement. Uhuru had initially kept off the Mariga debate amid claims he was reluctant to enter a political duel that would jeopardise his blossoming ties with Raila since the March 9, 2018 truce. President Uhuru Kenyatta's endorsement of Jubilee's McDonald Mariga for the Kibra by-election poses a litmus test for the longevity of his handshake with Raila Odinga. Uhuru had initially kept off the Mariga debate amid claims he was reluctant to enter into a political contest that would jeopardise his blossoming ties with Raila since the March 9, 2018 truce. Mariga, a political novice, had largely been seen as Deputy President William Ruto's pawn in his 2022 dress rehearsal with Raila.

Manifesto for the Kenya Revolutionary Front (KRF)

Manifesto for the Kenya Revolutionary Front (KRF) miguna releasing his latest manifesto for 2022 election.Lets join our hero. Kenya Revolutionary Front (KRF) is a grassroots movement for the transformation, restructuring and fully democratizing Kenya, making it a merit based society governed by the rule of law, integrity in leadership, respect for the constitution and basic human rights. More than half a century after Kenya was freed from colonialism, the promised liberation, return of land that had been occupied by the British and dignity of the people remain vague illusions for the vast majority of its citizens. We are deeply divided by artificially choreographed ethnic rivalries and class stratifications; manipulated and exploited by rapacious elites who have looted most natural resources especially productive public and community land and who have hoarded an immense wealth acquired from the public purse for their personal benefits. Tens of millions of Kenyans are exposed t...

SOCIAL AND EQUALITY TO ALL

SOCIAL AND EQUALITY TO ALL
My main agenda is adopting a Gramscian theoretical framework, the five parts of this volume focus on the various ways in which the political is discursively and materially realized in its dialogic co-constructions within the media, the economy, culture and identity, affect, and education. We focus at examining the power instantiations of sociolinguistic and semiotic practices in society from a variety of critical perspectives, this blog focus at how applied political linguists globally is responding to, and challenge, current discourses of issues such as militarism, nationalism, Islamophobia, sexism, racism and the free market, and suggests future directions. No peace, no unity, no coexistence hence all becomes vanity...! It's why the world is oval.
