How to apply for Safaricom till number online

 Here’s a step-by-step guide to doing it:

  1. To apply for a Mpesa till number, go to the Safari-com Self On boarding portal at Mpesa for business till number  
  2. On the portal, click the “apply now” button.
  3. Select Mpesa Business Till (buy goods till)
  4. Choose between individual, sole proprietor, and limited liability based on your business model.
  5. Wait for the application to be processed after filling it out and submitting it (it takes less than 24 hours).
  6. You will then receive an SMS notification containing the till number and store number on the line that you used when applying (nominated number).
  7. Download the Lipa na Mpesa sticker from the same website.
  8. Using the USSD code *234#, activate the business till.
  9. Change the pin and start transacting
  10. You will automatically begin receiving payment notifications made to your till on the nominated number.

   Nine kids who were the first beneficiaries of the Victor Wanyama Foundation scholarship programme are undergoing a mentorship programme in Nairobi.With the schools closed for the mid-season break, the foundation is taking the kids through a three-day mentorship programme, Elvis Majani, the foundation’s advocate, has explained. SCHOLARSHIP “We want to develop the kids into responsible citizens and we are therefore very keen in all aspects of their lives. Some of them are coming to Nairobi for the first time and the excitement they have is evident.
