Mululu villagers go missing at a wedding of Mudavadi daughter

KIKUYU NATION OUTNUMBERED LUHYAS AT AN INVITE ONLY WEDDING OF PRIME CS http://
MUSALIA MUDAVADI’S DAUGHTER MARYANNE

Top attendance was from Kikuyu nation led by Cs Kuria, Kimani Ichungwa. Ndii Nyoro, Govs Waiguru, kangata, Wamatangi, 5 buses of villagers, Financial market moguls, mt. Kenya billionares club etc.
Luhyas represented by
_Weta made a brief appearance and left.
_Moody Awori at the photoshoot
_ Cs Nakhumicha came late for reception and left.
_ no school bus from mululu or vihiga, but five buses with names of schools in Muranga
_ No choir or women group escorting their daughter, singing songs from ingo.
_ Isikuti drums missing.

We witnessed the wedding of the year as MaryAnne Mudavadi wedded a Karanja from Muranga. Prime CS so happy as he was as he walked his only daughter down the aisle and handed her over to Karanja of Muranga. Musalia walked with a new gait in his step, beaming, happy and receiving accolades from admirers and haters alike. A clip I posted on my tiktok page of Mama Tesie Mudavadi unveiling the wedding gown of her daughter hit 7.8 million views by end of day, proving that Kenyans and especially Luhyas who follow me were keen on the wedding.
But away from the glare of cameras, undertones and hush hush ovumonyi filtered thru among the mulembe nation, that Luhyas including mululu villagemates of Musalia were outnumbered and looked lost as they gave away their daughter. As much as it is accepted that the bridegroom should take center stage, but we must appreciate this was a man marrying the daughter of mulembe nation Kingpin. Why would the political class including Sabatia MP Sloya, give the event a wide berth? It did not escape wagging tongues that just two months ago, Weta’s son held a wedding and the entire western was present.
During the introduction at the Polo club reception, Villagers from Muranga who had come to the venue in 5 buses filled every available space and the Karanja family took time to introduce their people. When it came to the prime cs side, there were no elaborate introductions. He did not even introduce his extended family. Only a handful of people from his mululu village were present.

My research shows that;
1. Invitation cards for mulelmbe nation leaders, businessmen and Mululu villagers were non existent or did not reach. Most leaders I talked to said they were not invited and would not have wished to gate crush.
2. Church leaders from mainstream Luhya nation churches were ignored. Including the friends church or Quakers. Their choirs ignored. They were very disappointed.
3. Unlike the Kikuyu political leaders who ensured their people got transport to attend the wedding, the mulembe leaders including the Sabatia MP where Musalia comes from showed no interest. They kept off.
4. Fear. Luhyas fear a person who is in power. Unless that leader is welcoming and generous, luhyas will keep off events associated with that leader.
CONCLUSION
Huko ingo we say Obwami bulindwanga. I am not happy when I see mulembe nation isolating itself from MM. Its dangerous for us and for him. Powere is people. The day people keep away from your home, your weddings and offices … is the day power becomes powerless.
My two cents.

SOCIAL AND EQUALITY TO ALL

SOCIAL AND EQUALITY TO ALL
My main agenda is adopting a Gramscian theoretical framework, the five parts of this volume focus on the various ways in which the political is discursively and materially realized in its dialogic co-constructions within the media, the economy, culture and identity, affect, and education. We focus at examining the power instantiations of sociolinguistic and semiotic practices in society from a variety of critical perspectives, this blog focus at how applied political linguists globally is responding to, and challenge, current discourses of issues such as militarism, nationalism, Islamophobia, sexism, racism and the free market, and suggests future directions. No peace, no unity, no coexistence hence all becomes vanity...! It's why the world is oval.
